Floating wheat is used in the treatment of deficiency and excessive sweating; licorice is used in the treatment of spleen and stomach weakness; jujube is used in the treatment of spleen deficiency and low food intake. 1. Floating wheat: the immature caryopsis of wheat, family Gramineae. It has the efficacy of stopping deficiency sweating, nourishing the heart and tranquilizing the mind. It is used in the treatment of excessive sweating. Its adverse reactions, contraindications, precautions are not clear. 2. Glycyrrhiza glabra: dried roots and rhizomes of Glycyrrhiza glabra, family Leguminosae. It has the effects of benefiting qi and tonifying the middle, moistening the lung and relieving cough, clearing away heat and removing toxins, relieving pain (relieving more urgent pain symptoms) and harmonizing the medicinal properties. It is used for weak spleen and stomach, weakness, palpitation, phlegm, relieving drug toxicity and potency. The adverse reactions and contraindications of licorice are not known. It is not suitable to be used in combination with licorice, coriander and seaweed. 3. Jujube: is the mature fruit of jujube plant of Rhamnaceae. It has the effect of tonifying the middle Jiao and benefiting qi (treating qi deficiency by tonifying the spleen), nourishing blood and tranquilizing the mind. It is used for spleen deficiency with little food, loose stools (thin and unformed feces), and dirty agitation (upset and depression, sadness and wanting to cry for no reason).
