What to do about pressure ulcers

Pressure ulcers focus on prevention, and once they occur, treatment includes the following: 1. timely correction of the cause of occurrence, such as passive position leading to ulcers, requiring correction of passive position, regular turning, and use of alternating inflatable mattresses or protective gear for those unable to turn; 2. prevention of further expansion of pressure ulcers with the help of medical personnel, and timely release of pressure; 3. medical intervention, including physical therapy, wound dressing changes or negative pressure, covering ulcer treatment measures such as decubitus pads and pressure sore pads.
