The main acupoints on the little finger are the Shaochong and Shaoze points around the nail angle of the little finger and the Ten Xuan points at the tip of the little finger.
The location of the Shaochong point is 0.1 inch above the radial side of the fingernail angle of the little finger, the Shaoze point is 0.1 inch above the ulnar side of the fingernail angle of the little finger, and one of the Ten Xuan points is at the tip of the little finger, 0.1 inch from the free edge of the nail.
Shaochong acupoint belongs to the Heart Meridian of the Shao Yin of the Hand and can be used for treating epileptic stupor, heart pain and palpitation, pain in the chest and ribs (a collective term for the chest and ribcage area), and fever. Shao Ze acupoint belongs to the Small Intestine Meridian of the Sun of the Hand, and can be used to treat milky breast carbuncle (a purulent disease that eventually develops when the breasts are red, swollen and painful and the milk is not discharged properly), fever, sore throat, headache and coma.
Ten Xuan points are extra meridian points that can be used to treat epilepsy, coma, high fever, numbness of the fingers and so on.
Feeling unwell, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time, and manipulation of the acupoints should be carried out by a specialized physician.
