Physical cooling methods for children

Physical cooling methods for children generally have warm water bath, wet compresses on the forehead, drink more warm water and so on.
1. Warm water bath: water temperature adjustment to 32 ~ 34 ℃ or so, to the adult wrist inner skin is not hot, with a warm towel to centrifugal direction wipe, wipe the child’s armpits, groin, palms and other locations, and at the same time to observe the child’s reaction, there are chills, shivering should be stopped immediately.
2. Wet compresses on the forehead: immerse a towel in water at about 35℃, wring it out until it is not dripping, and put it on the child’s forehead for 10-15 minutes each time.
3. Drink more warm water: Let the child drink more warm water, timely replenishment of water lost due to fever, can maintain the electrolyte balance of the body, moderate drinking warm water, promote urination and sweating, help cooling.
If the effect of physical cooling is not satisfactory, the body temperature exceeds 38.5 ℃, accompanied by poor mental state, etc., it is recommended to consult a doctor in order to clarify the cause of the disease, under the guidance of the doctor to avoid delays in the condition.
