Intrauterine adhesions (IUAs) are common gynecologic diseases that pose a serious risk to reproductive function and are poorly treated, seriously affecting female reproductive function and physical and mental health. The incidence of IUAs in China is the highest in the world and consumes a large amount of medical resources, so it is urgent to raise the attention to IUAs. In order to unify the diagnostic criteria, standardize the surgical operation and strengthen the prevention of re-adhesion, it is urgent to summarize the expert consensus on IUAs in conjunction with the specific clinical practice in China. Surgery for moderate to severe IUAs is recommended to be performed in a tertiary care hospital or above; to be performed by experienced physicians; and to emphasize the importance of initial TCRA surgery (recommendation grade C). Repeat surgery should be minimized, with emphasis on the standardization of surgical operations and good follow-up management. secondary hysteroscopic exploration should be routinely performed after TCRA, and follow-up visits can be increased to observe pregnancy outcomes and complications.
