It is difficult to see the shallow caries with light demineralization on radiographs.
1. Medium caries, deep caries: radiographs can clearly distinguish medium caries, deep caries, presenting low-density shadow on the dental film, especially for the neck caries, root caries, neighboring caries which are not easy to be found with the naked eye and have greater diagnostic significance.
2. Shallow caries: shallow caries demineralization is relatively light, it is not easy to see on the dental radiographs, only when the demineralization is deeper, it can be clearly seen.
Not all caries need to take pictures, medium caries, deep caries can be judged according to clinical symptoms, only some light demineralization of shallow caries, and adjacent caries, root caries, etc. to judge the effect is better.
When tooth decay occurs, go to the hospital in time, listen to the professional doctor’s advice and choose the best treatment plan to prevent further deepening of caries.
