What’s wrong with back pain?

Patients seen in the outpatient clinic often complain of low back pain. It worsens after exertion and is relieved by rest. Experts: Low back pain can be caused by a variety of factors, and for women, menstrual disease, hypochondriac disease, pregnancy disease, miscellaneous gynecological diseases and the sequelae of birth control surgery can all induce low back pain. Therefore, when women have pain symptoms, they should not focus only on the waist, because low back pain can be caused by a number of gynecological conditions. Common gynecological conditions that can trigger low back pain include: pelvic inflammatory disease inflammation of pelvic tissue such as chronic adnexitis, pelvic peritonitis, inflammation of the uterosacral ligament or connective tissue, the inflammatory stimulation of these diseases can cause low back pain. Cervicitis Inflammation of the uterine cervix can cause symptoms such as increased leucorrhea, local itching and tingling, as well as lumbar pain when stimulated by inflammation. Abnormal uterine position The normal position of the uterus is anteverted and forward-flexed. If the uterus is retroflexed and its position is abnormally changed, it can cause back pain due to excessive traction on the ligaments supporting the uterus in the body and also compression of some nerves. Uterine prolapse The uterus is displaced downward along the vagina, and due to the weakness and reduced tension of the pelvic support tissues, the pressure in the abdominal cavity increases, resulting in a feeling of falling and lumbar pain due to traction. Tumors in the pelvic cavity If there are tumors in the pelvic cavity such as fibroids, cervical cancer, endometrial cancer, ovarian tumors, back pain can occur due to nerve compression or infiltration of cancer cells into the pelvic connective tissue, and the pain will increase as the tumor increases. Pregnancy After pregnancy, as the fetus grows larger month by month, the lumbar support force will increase, and the long time mechanical action will lead to ligament relaxation gradually, and the enlarged uterine cavity will compress the pelvic nerves and blood vessels, which will also lead to the occurrence of low back pain. Fertility factors Women who have too many births, too many abortions or uncontrolled and too frequent sex can cause a deficiency of kidney energy, which can lead to lumbago. Experts remind: women’s back pain is often a signal of some gynecological diseases. Do not take painkillers indiscriminately, but go to a gynecological clinic for early detection of gynecological diseases.
