Factors leading to the formation of cerebral palsy

Cerebral palsy, also known as pediatric cerebral palsy because the onset is mostly in infancy, is a syndrome of non-progressive brain injury and is one of the most important disorders leading to pediatric disability. The main manifestations are spastic diplegia, hemiplegia, tardive dyskinesia and other cone and extrapyramidal symptoms, which may also be accompanied by congenital malformations, mental retardation and seizures. There are many causes for the formation of cerebral palsy, which are mainly divided into before birth, at birth and after birth. 1.Before birth: abnormal brain development during embryonic period; permanent brain damage caused by trauma or severe infection during pregnancy, gestational toxemia, diabetes and radiation exposure affecting fetal brain development; rubella, toxoplasmosis, herpes zoster, giant cell inclusion body disease in early pregnancy causing damage to the child’s central nervous system; premature birth; premature birth, etc. 2, the child in the birth of prolonged delivery, umbilical cord around the neck, placenta abruptio, placenta praevia caused by fetal cerebral hypoxia; birth injuries, emergency delivery, obstructed labor, intracranial hemorrhage due to hemorrhagic disease; neonatal hyperbilirubinemia due to nuclear jaundice, etc. 3. After the child is born, due to infection, poisoning, trauma, vascular damage and unexplained encephalopathy, etc. Since there are so many factors leading to pediatric cerebral palsy, we should pay great attention to these causes in our life and actively prevent them to give our children a bright future.
