Spleen deficiency and dampness-heat can be treated with Si Jun Zi Tang with Si Miao San, Paeoniae Alba Tang with Ginseng and Atractylodes Macrocephalae, which should be used in accordance with the doctor’s instructions for evidence-based treatment. 1. Paeoniae Radix Tang combining with Ginseng Ling Bai Zhu San: Paeoniae Radix Tang has the efficacy of harmonizing blood and regulating qi, clearing heat and drying dampness (removing heat and drying dampness), and is used for dysentery of dampness and heat (dysentery due to dampness and heat evil). It is composed of Paeoniae Alba, Betel nut, Angelica sinensis, Rhizoma Coptidis, Mucuna pruriens, Scutellaria baicalensis, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Rhubarb, and Guan Gui. For combination with spleen deficiency, combining with Ginseng Lingbai Zhu San has the effect of tonifying the spleen and stomach, etc. It is used for spleen and stomach weakness, and the composition of the drug is ginseng, poria, atractylodes, yam, white lentil, lotus seed, coix seed, sand nut, orange root, and licorice. Adverse effects and contraindications of the above drugs are not clear.
