Patients with iritis may be screened for rheumatologic immune programs as needed to detect specific causes of the disease.
Iritis is a localized inflammatory manifestation of the iris of the eye, most of which is caused by trauma, fungal-bacterial infections, or immune system disorders. When making a diagnosis of the cause of iritis, patients can undergo a rheumatoid immune program to help determine whether the body has rheumatoid immune-related diseases, so as to clarify the specific cause of the disease, and to avoid the emergence of a missed diagnosis and misdiagnosis.
In the presence of iritis, patients should be treated immediately for the cause to avoid complications such as posterior iris adhesions. If the iritis is caused by rheumatoid immune-related diseases, patients also need to undergo regular review of the immune system to avoid recurrence.
Patients with iritis are advised to seek prompt medical attention to evaluate their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions.
