How to sterilize surgical instruments

Surgical instruments are generally sterilized by either low-temperature sterilization or high-temperature sterilization. Low temperature sterilization method or high temperature sterilization method is the main method of sterilization of surgical instruments. 1. Low-temperature sterilization method: often use ethylene oxide, formaldehyde steam sterilization. Applicable to medical devices that can not withstand high temperatures. The advantage of low-temperature sterilization is that it does not damage the sterilized items while having good penetration, and can achieve a better sterilization effect. 2. High-temperature sterilization method: the most widely used clinical method of mold, including pressure steam sterilization method, rapid steam sterilization method. The former is suitable for sterilization of instruments and articles that can withstand high heat, and the latter is suitable for sterilization of exposed instruments and articles.
