What is a ground glass nodule in the upper lobe of the right lung?

The symptoms of a right upper lobe ground glass nodule are initially considered to be a lung lesion, but do not exclude benign nodules caused by scar tissue in the lung. Infectious lung diseases include tuberculosis, mycoplasma pneumonia, and alveolitis. Non-infectious lung diseases include squamous lung cancer, adenocarcinoma of the lung, and pulmonary fibroma. If the diameter of the nodule exceeds 1cm, malignant tumor is more likely; if the lung lesion has occurred before, the local benign nodule phenomenon may be caused by fibrosis and calcification in the process of self-repair of lung tissue during the healing process.
