It is mainly used for bacterial dysentery, enteritis and cholera caused by sensitive bacteria, but also for typhoid fever, paratyphoid fever and trichomonas, etc. It can be used for the treatment of gastric sinusitis caused by Helicobacter pylori in cooperation with acidulant drugs. Alcohol consumption during oral administration of this product may cause disulfiram reaction, which may manifest as skin flushing, fever, headache, nausea, tachycardia, and increased blood pressure, etc. Therefore, alcohol consumption is prohibited during administration and for five days after discontinuation of the drug.
