It is used for abdominal pain, pus and blood in stool, burning in the anus, acute pain in the abdomen (discomfort in the lower abdomen, wanting to defecate very much, and feeling of incomplete defecation after defecation), and small amount of urine with yellow color, etc. The medicinal ingredients are Paeonia lactiflora, Dangdang paeoniae and Dangdang paeoniae. The drug composition includes Paeoniae Alba, Angelica Sinensis, Licorice, Rhizoma Coptidis, Rhizoma Rhei, Betel nut, Mucuna pruriens, Scutellaria baicalensis, and Cinnamomum officinale. It is contraindicated for those with superficial symptoms at the beginning of dysentery.
2. Puerariae Radix Scutellariae Lian Lian Tang: It has the efficacy of relieving exterior and clearing interior. It is used for symptoms such as body fever, diarrhea, chest and abdomen irritable heat (irritable and stuffy heat), wheezing and sweating, dry mouth and thirst. It is composed of Pueraria Mirifica, Glycyrrhiza glabra, Scutellaria baicalensis and Rhizoma Coptidis. This formula is contraindicated in cases of deficiency-cold diarrhea.
3. Pak Tau Woong Tang: It is effective in cooling blood and stopping dysentery (clearing heat and cooling blood, eliminating dysentery, etc.), clearing heat and removing toxins. It is used for symptoms such as abdominal pain, burning in the anus, acute and severe diarrhea, pus and blood stools, and thirst for water. The drug is composed of Baigouweng, Huangbai, Huanglian, Qinpi. Contraindications to this formula are unclear.
