Mycoplasma pneumonia is caused by Mycoplasma pneumoniae infection. After diagnosis, treatment with antibiotics targeting Mycoplasma pneumoniae is required, and azithromycin can be chosen to control the infection. Azithromycin is widely used in clinical practice and has a good efficacy against mycoplasma pneumonia. However, adverse reactions can occur during its application, for example, gastrointestinal reactions are particularly common, as well as damage to liver and kidney function and neurological manifestations. If the adverse reactions are significant, the patient should stop the use of the drug immediately and choose other drugs for mycoplasma infection.
