How to tell if your baby has breast milk jaundice

If jaundice worsens again after resumption of breastfeeding when there is a significant drop in jaundice after stopping breastfeeding, the baby can usually be diagnosed with breastmilk jaundice.
Breast milk jaundice usually occurs in newborns who are breastfed. Breastfeeding jaundice can be determined by stopping breastfeeding and observing the jaundice. If the jaundice decreases significantly after stopping breastfeeding, breastfeeding jaundice can be diagnosed. Symptoms of breastfeeding jaundice mainly show yellowing of the skin and sclera, and most of the babies are in good condition without any need for treatment.
Breastfeeding jaundice usually does not need treatment, jaundice can subside on its own, we should closely observe the condition of the newborn and measure the transcutaneous bilirubin, if the jaundice subsides too late or recurs, we should consult the doctor in time.
