Before painless colonoscopy, it is necessary to screen for contraindications, infectious diseases, bowel preparation and water fasting.

2. Bowel preparation: no more fruits and vegetables the day before the colonoscopy, and eat a light and easy-to-digest diet, such as porridge and pasta. According to the time of colonoscopy, bowel preparation should be carried out, such as compound polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder, etc. During the period of bowel preparation, drink more water and move around more to promote defecation, when the discharged stool has no obvious fecal residue, and it is light yellow and watery, the bowel preparation is basically completed.
3. No food and water: It is not recommended to eat water 4 hours before the colonoscopy to prevent the anesthesia from misusage.
