What about blood pressure of 90mmHg?

If the blood pressure is low 90 mmHg and the high pressure is not high, the management of this hypertension is mainly based on the risk stratification of the patient’s blood pressure. If the patient’s blood pressure risk stratification is low or moderate risk, active lifestyle management can be given first, including weight control, increased exercise, low salt and low fat diet, and smoking and alcohol cessation. After 3-6 months of lifestyle modification, if the blood pressure returns to normal, no antihypertensive medication may be required. If blood pressure remains elevated, antihypertensive medication should be started to lower blood pressure. If the risk stratification of blood pressure is high risk or very high risk, antihypertensive medication should be started immediately, along with active lifestyle management to control other cardiovascular risk factors.
