First signs of a first pregnancy

The first signs of a first pregnancy include menopause, reaction to pregnancy sickness, and breast changes.
1. Cessation of menstruation: The main sign of pregnancy is cessation of menstruation. After a woman becomes pregnant, with hormonal changes, the ovaries stop ovulating, the endometrium molts and does not shed cyclically, so menstruation stops.
2. Reaction to pregnancy and vomiting: Changes in HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin), estrogen and progesterone will cause the body’s digestive system to be affected, resulting in nausea and vomiting in the morning or after meals.
3. Breast changes: the nipples and areolas become darker in color, while the mammary glands begin to develop and the breasts become larger, which may also cause breast swelling and pain.
It is recommended that women who experience menopause should check for pregnancy as soon as possible, and during pregnancy, they need to undergo regular obstetric examinations.
