What are the characteristics of rheumatic skin rashes?

The rheumatic skin erythema annulare is one of the skin manifestations of rheumatic fever. The erythema is wandering and multiple and changes rapidly, often disappearing within a few hours or 2-3 days, without scaling. The inflammatory cells are polymorphic in histopathology, with neutrophil infiltration, as well as other clinical symptoms of rheumatic fever such as fever and arthralgia.
