Abdominal pain, fatty diarrhea Please be alert to chronic pancreatitis Modern people live a fast-paced life, work pressure, irregular diet, a variety of social functions, often drinking alcohol, eating large fish and meat. Therefore, many people often feel “stomach pain”, “indigestion” and other symptoms. But most people think they are just “stomach problems” and do not care, but in fact, they have chronic pancreatitis, which delays the time of diagnosis and treatment. Currently, the number of patients with diabetes and hyperlipidemia is increasing, including patients with chronic pancreatitis. In addition, long-term alcohol abuse, overeating is also an important factor in causing pancreatitis. It is estimated that in 2008, the incidence of chronic pancreatitis in China is 13 / 100,000, and is increasing year by year; among them, the proportion of alcoholic pancreatitis is also gradually increasing. Chronic pancreatitis is a persistent damage to the structure and function of the pancreas caused by various etiologies, resulting in pancreatic fibrosis. The main clinical symptoms are recurrent episodes of upper abdominal pain and pancreatic exocrine insufficiency, which can be combined with pancreatic endocrine insufficiency, pancreatic parenchymal calcification, pancreatic duct stones, pancreatic pseudocyst formation, and even complications of pancreatic cancer. Patients often feel “stomach pain” and “indigestion”, and may have elevated blood sugar and steatorrhea. When the disease is severe, it is often very painful and difficult to sleep and eat, causing great harm to patients. The main treatment methods for chronic pancreatitis include medication, endoscopy and surgery. The acute attack of chronic pancreatitis should be seen immediately in the hospital; the chronic phase can be adjusted at home, through a combination of dietary regulation and drug therapy, focusing on the prevention of acute attacks; some patients also need timely surgical treatment to relieve symptoms, remove the cause of the disease and slow down the development of the disease.
