The red rash caused by azithromycin allergy is called drug rash. The original treatment of drug rash requires discontinuation of all suspected causative drugs, including drugs with similar structure to the causative drug, drinking more water to promote the metabolism of the drug, early and adequate anti-allergy treatment, 1-2 groups of antihistamines such as loratadine, cetirizine, etc. can be given to those with mild symptoms. For more severe symptoms, early systemic application of glucocorticoids is needed to control allergy symptoms. For severe allergy, gammaglobulin can be given intravenously, and topical anti-inflammatory and antipruritic mainly can be given as a stove glycolic lotion. If the rash is vesicular, boric acid solution or neomycin ointment can be given topically, and care around the mouth and eyes needs to be taken.
