Elderly people walking suddenly fall down cause

Most elderly people who fall suddenly while walking are considered to have a cerebrovascular disease, possibly cerebral insufficiency of blood supply, which can also be seen in cerebral infarction and cerebral hemorrhage. The symptoms of cerebral insufficiency are usually episodic and may include sudden onset of dizziness, impaired balance, ataxia, blackness, sensory impairment of the limbs or motor dysfunction. All of these symptoms may cause the patient to fall and may progress to cerebral infarction if they occur frequently. Patients with cerebral infarction may suddenly develop dizziness, nausea, vomiting, balance disorder, ataxia, or limb sensory and motor dysfunction, usually in a quiet state, with a low-density lesion on cranial CT. Patients with cerebral hemorrhage usually have an active onset and can also develop the above symptoms. The main causes are hypertension and diabetes, as well as atherosclerosis and aneurysms.
