How many months does it take to do IVF

Generally it usually takes 2 months to do IVF, usually the 1st month is needed for relevant tests and the 2nd month is the incubation cycle of IVF. If there are problems in the middle, it may take longer.
In the 1st month, both spouses usually need to go to the Center for Reproductive Medicine at the same time to complete the relevant examinations, which firstly need to rule out the contraindications for IVF. An appropriate ovulation program is developed based on hormone levels on day 2 of menstruation, follicle count, and cause of infertility.
In the 2nd month, you can enter the incubation cycle of IVF. The number of days needed will vary according to different ovulation promotion protocols, and the woman needs to go to the hospital for 3-4 ultrasounds to closely monitor the development of the follicles. Suitable embryos are selected for embryo culture in the laboratory, and the embryos are cultured to a certain stage to be transferred to the bottom of the uterus.
After IVF embryo transfer, women are generally advised to take bed rest and stay inactive for the near future. After the transfer, serum HCG levels, or human chorionic gonadotropin levels, are monitored to determine the status of the embryo transfer. Similarly regular check-ups are required after a successful pregnancy to monitor the development of the fetus.
