Whether the vaginal discharge is normal after HPV infection can be divided into the following situations: 1. If in the early stage of HPV infection, when there is no combination of other bacterial infections, the patient may not have any clinical manifestations, neither increase in secretion, nor discharge with fishy odor; 2. If the HPV infection lasts for a longer period of time, it may manifest itself as an increase in secretion, or even the appearance of watery secretion and bloody secretion. In case of combined infection, pus and blood discharge may appear, and the discharge is accompanied by a fishy odor. If the gynecological examination reveals that the cervix is congested, and the discharge may only be yellowish in color or even thin, the doctor will recommend cervical cancer screening to rule out the presence of abnormal discharge due to HPV infection.
