How to read the prostate MRI scanning report card

The prostate MRI report card mainly observes the morphology of the prostate, size, signal, relationship with the surrounding tissues and the condition of the neighboring tissues to comprehensively determine the condition of the prostate.
1. Prostate morphology: The main purpose of observing the prostate morphology is to determine whether there are abnormal tissues that cause changes in the prostate morphology.
2. Size: To determine whether there is prostate hyperplasia by size.
3. Signal: To determine whether there is any abnormal tissue structure in the prostate by observing the signal change, and to determine whether there is prostate cancer by observing the signal condition in the outer band.
4. Relationship with surrounding tissues: To determine whether the tissues around the prostate are compressed and invaded, and to further determine the prostate lesion status.
5. Neighboring tissues: determine whether there are enlarged lymph nodes in the pelvis and whether there are abnormal signals in the surrounding bone to further diagnose the condition.
The prostate MRI must be carefully observed and combined with blood tests to determine the prostate condition, and after the discovery of abnormal lesions, standardized treatment should be carried out under the guidance of clinicians to avoid delays in the condition.
