The number of metastatic lymph nodes is mainly correlated with the type and stage of the disease. Lymphatic metastasis varies greatly among different malignant tumors and is not discussed in this article. Clinical TNM staging is based on the number of metastatic lymph nodes. Some malignant tumors will have regional lymph node metastasis in the process of development, and the main criterion for distinguishing lymph node metastasis through N staging is determined by the number of metastatic lymph nodes. No lymph node metastasis belongs to N0, 1~3 lymph node metastasis belongs to N1, more than 4 lymph node metastasis belongs to N2, the specific situation needs to be formulated in accordance with the staging standard of the corresponding malignant tumor itself. The more lymph node metastasis, the more serious the degree of malignant tumor metastasis, the further treatment process will have different treatment time and plan, need to be formulated under the guidance of clinicians.
