An irregularly shaped nodular shadow is seen in the lateral segment of the middle lobe of the right lung; whether it is serious or not must be judged in the light of the nature of the nodule itself. On further examination, a benign nodule is not considered serious; a malignant nodule on examination is a serious symptom. The common causes of benign nodules include inflammation, tuberculosis and vascular malformation, which are not serious conditions. If it is inflammation, the nodular shadow will be reduced or disappeared after applying antibiotic treatment; if it is tuberculosis, it needs to be treated with early, appropriate amount of anti-tuberculosis medication in combination with the whole course of treatment; if it is a small vascular malformation, it can be reviewed regularly first. General irregular nodular shadow should be alert to malignant tumors, such as irregular nodules accompanied by burrs, lobulation, vacuoles, vascular cluster signs and other malignant signs, and further puncture biopsy for malignant tumors, is a serious condition, need to be dealt with in a timely manner. The discovery of lung nodules should be timely medical treatment, standardized treatment under the guidance of clinicians, to avoid causing delays in the condition.
