The thickening and hardening of the urethra is caused by urethral tumors. The cause of urethral tumor is not clear, but it may be related to sexual intercourse, menstrual paper friction, birth injury, urethral infection and certain pre-existing vulvar lesions such as mucosal leukoplakia, urethral caruncle, urethral polyps, chronic urethritis, urethral stricture and repeated urethral dilatation. The cause of urethral tumor is not clear, but it may be related to the stimulation of sexual intercourse, rubbing of menstrual paper, birth injury, urethral infection and certain pre-existing vulvar lesions such as mucosal leukoplakia, urethral caruncle, urethral polyp, chronic urethritis, urethral stricture and repeated urethral dilatation, etc. The age of onset is mostly between 40 and 60 years old. After laser treatment of urethral tumors, supportive treatment is given to improve the immunity of the patient and anti-infection treatment is given according to the patient’s surgical condition. Drink more water to help flush out the tissues shed during the repair of urethral surgery. Chinese medicine can be used as Fuzheng detoxification cream (see intracavitary bladder tumor grouping and usage). Observe the patient’s urine discharge daily for any secondary bleeding. Urination is slightly irritating to the urethra for 2 weeks after surgery. In addition to giving the patient enough fluid to dilute the excretion, the irritation can be reduced. No treatment is routinely required, but symptomatic treatment is indicated for those with prominent symptoms.
