Why do cancer cells grow faster after taking Sanghwang?

There is no scientific basis for the statement that cancer cells grow faster after eating Sanghuang.
Sanghuang is the name of traditional Chinese medicine, its flavor is slightly bitter, cold in nature, attributed to the liver, kidney meridian, for the Polyporaceae fungi fire wood stromatolites of the substrate. Sanghuang has the efficacy of activating blood circulation, stopping bleeding, softening and dispersing knots (softening and dispersing hard lumps), stopping diarrhea, and detoxifying.
Sanghuang is often used in the treatment of hematochezia, hemorrhagic drenching (the appearance of blood in the urine accompanied by pain), prolapse of anus and blood in the stool, dysmenorrhea, menstrual closure, obstruction in the abdomen, fetishism, diarrhea caused by spleen deficiency, scrofula (mainly refers to the tuberculosis of the lymph nodes in the neck), ulceration, and so on.
Contraindications and adverse effects of Sanghuang are not clear at present. However, it should be noted that oral consumption of large quantities of Sanghuang may cause vomiting and diarrhea, and it is recommended to take it under the guidance of a doctor’s diagnosis, do not take it on your own to avoid adverse reactions. There is no scientific evidence that eating Sanghuang will accelerate the growth of cancer cells.
After the diagnosis of cancer, one should seek medical treatment in time, and should not take medication on one’s own.
