CT manifestation of lung cancer needs to be divided into central type lung cancer and peripheral type lung cancer for further understanding. In case of central type lung cancer, there are mostly enlarged imaging of lesions near the hilum, including enlarged mediastinal hilar lymph nodes, thickened hilar shadow, and changes such as obstructive dysplasia and obstructive pneumonia caused by tumor occupancy, which appear as lamellar and mass-like hilar shadow enlargement and lymph node fusion on CT. In case of peripheral type lung cancer, it is easy to show occupancy in the periphery of lung and various lung segments. Occupancy can be classified as ground glass nodules, partially solid nodules and solid nodules, and if the tumor is large, it can also be accompanied by short burr, lobar, pleural pulling sign, pleural depression sign and changes of pleural effusion. Therefore, the CT manifestations of lung cancer are diversified, and further careful differentiation is needed according to whether central or peripheral lung cancer is present and whether there are complications, especially to obtain pathological tissue examination for targeted treatment.
