The patient was a young female who requested porcelain crowns to restore an anterior gap. The patient had a large mesial gap and if only two porcelain crowns were done, the teeth would be very wide and there was a risk of killing the pulp, and if four were done, it would be too much tooth grinding for the patient. After communicating with the patient and making a diagnostic model to preview the results, a plan was made to do orthodontics first and then two lateral incisor veneers. After orthodontics, the middle gap was evened out to both sides. After orthodontics, only a small amount of preparation was made for the two lateral incisors, which greatly preserved the patient’s teeth. After the restoration, there was no obvious widening of the teeth in the frontal view. Sometimes it’s as simple as working together in a multidisciplinary team to achieve natural-looking results at minimal cost!
