Spinal Cord Cavernous Disease (SCD) is a neurological disease caused by the presence of fluid-filled cavities in the spinal cord parenchyma or central canal, which is analyzed as follows according to the causes of the disease, daily precautions and other perspectives: 1. Delayed condition: according to the causes, infection, spinal cord tumor, trauma and so on can cause spinal cord cavernous disease. Infection, tumor occupancy, trauma may lead to rapid enlargement of spinal cord cavernous cavity, destroying the spinal cord nerve bundles, resulting in the loss of limb warmth and pain sensation, restricted activities, muscle atrophy and spasm, if not treated at an early stage, delaying the course of the disease, and ultimately paralysis can occur affecting the quality of life. 2. Trauma: In daily activities, as spinal cord cavernous disease will affect the sensation of temperature and pain and limb activities, the patient can not perceive the temperature well, and when contacting with too high or too low objects may lead to scalding and frostbite, resulting in injuries. In addition, limited movement of the limbs may cause the patient to be unable to accurately perceive position and balance when moving, making him/her vulnerable to falls, resulting in bone fractures and damage to internal organs. Therefore, spinal cord cavernous disease must be treated as early as possible and not delayed, otherwise it can lead to aggravation of the condition, affecting the mobility of limbs and lowering the quality of life, as well as the awareness of protection in daily life, to avoid causing secondary injuries.
