There is no such thing as the first major acupoint for removing dampness by cupping. The common acupoints for removing dampness by cupping in Chinese medicine are Yinlingquan, Fenglong, and so on. Cupping, also known as fire cupping, is one of the common external treatments in Chinese medicine, which can remove dampness, activate blood circulation and eliminate blood stasis (promote blood circulation and eliminate blood stasis in the body). Yinlingquan point: located on the inner side of the lower leg, in the depression between the lower edge of the medial tibial condyle and the medial edge of the tibia. It is used for treating abdominal distension, diarrhea, edema, jaundice, dysuria (unsmooth urination), enuresis, urinary incontinence, pain in the pubic region, dysmenorrhea, spermatorrhea, and knee pain. Fenglong acupoint: located on the outer side of the lower leg, 8 inches above the tip of the outer ankle, the outer edge of the anterior tibial muscle, one transverse finger outside the mouth of the bar. Mainly treats headache, vertigo, epilepsy, cough, phlegm, lower limb impotence paralysis (weakness, numbness and pain in the lower limbs), abdominal distension, constipation.
