Can you exercise well with spinal cord cervical spondylosis

Spinal cervical spondylosis can be relieved by correct exercise, but it cannot be cured by exercise alone, and needs to be treated in accordance with the doctor’s prescription.
Spondylotic cervical spondylosis is a disease in which the cervical spinal cord is compressed or (and) the blood supply to the spinal cord is poor, resulting in spinal cord dysfunction due to degenerative changes in the cervical intervertebral discs and their neighboring structures secondary to inflammation, hypertrophy, hyperplasia, and other pathologic changes. Different degrees of spinal cord damage, treatment methods are also different.
1. Patients with mild symptoms of spinal cord damage: Conservative treatment is the mainstay of treatment. The purpose of conservative treatment is to avoid exacerbation of spinal cord cervical spondylosis, but it is not a cure. Conservative treatments include rest, localized braking, medications such as dehydration, anti-inflammatory, and neurotrophic drugs, and rehabilitation treatments such as acupuncture and tuina.
2. Patients with severe spinal cord damage: Surgery should be considered to relieve the pressure on the spinal cord. Surgery can also be considered for those whose symptoms and signs do not resolve or worsen after 3 to 6 weeks of non-surgical treatment, and appropriate rehabilitation training is still needed after surgery.
Patients with spinal cervical spondylosis should not perform neck exercises on their own, as many patients will have a seizure or faint after neck exercises, and it is recommended that patients be examined and receive standardized treatment under the guidance of a doctor to avoid further damage.
