It is common to see small rashes and discolorations on the skin of newborn babies such as milia, bruises, orange-red spots, etc. These are temporary phenomena and will disappear later. Parents need not worry. Below is a description of the characteristics of these rashes and pigmented spots so that parents can compare them to see which one they belong to. Corn Rash Corn Rash occurs on the tip of the nose, nose, cheeks and face. It is caused by the accumulation of sebaceous glands and forms a pinhead-like yellowish-white rash, which will disappear naturally with the peeling of the skin. Some newborns have bluish-green spots on the back and buttocks, some of them are very big, which are caused by the special pigmentation, commonly known as green mark or fetal nevus, and most of them will gradually fade away with age. Orange-red spot Orange-red spot is often distributed on the forehead, the hairline of the back of the neck or eyelids of newborns, which is a kind of microvascular nevus, and usually disappears within a few months.
