In the last 30 years, especially in the last 10 years, there has been a great progress in the understanding of the pathogenesis of PD and the exploration of the treatment. However, there are many irregularities in the treatment of PD in China, and it is necessary to formulate a scientific treatment guideline that meets the actual situation in China. I. Comprehensive treatment The treatment of PD should be comprehensive, including pharmacotherapy, surgery, rehabilitation, psychotherapy, etc., among which pharmacotherapy is the first and main treatment. The currently applied treatments, no matter drugs or surgery, can only improve the symptoms, but not stop the development of the disease, let alone cure it. Therefore, the treatment should not only take into account the immediate future, but not consider the future. Second, the principle of medication should adhere to the “dose titration”, “long flow of water, do not seek full effect” of the principle of medication; medication dose should be “the minimum dose to achieve satisfactory results”; treatment should follow both the general principles, and should emphasize the individual The selection of medication for different patients should take into account not only the characteristics of the disease, but also the patient’s age, employment status, affordability and other factors. The goal of drug therapy is to delay disease progression, control symptoms, and extend the number of years of symptom control as much as possible, while minimizing side effects and complications of drugs.
