The treatment of coronary artery anterior descending stenosis depends on the degree of stenosis, the degree of stenosis less than 75% drug treatment is the main, the degree of stenosis is greater than or equal to 75% or the combination of multi-branch vascular lesions need surgical treatment and drug treatment.
1. For patients with stenosis less than 75%, if there are no symptoms of angina such as palpitation, chest tightness, chest pain, etc., surgery is not feasible, and secondary prevention of coronary artery disease is given, including aspirin enteric-coated tablets or clopidogrel, antiplatelet aggregation, metoprolol tablets to lower heart rate and reduce the oxygen consumption of the myocardium, and atorvastatin for anti-atherosclerosis, controlling blood pressure, blood glucose, and other risk factors.
2. For patients with stenosis greater than 75%, it is recommended to undergo reconstructive surgery, i.e. coronary angiography plus coronary stenting or coronary artery bypass grafting.
Patients who are found to have lesions of the left anterior descending branch of the coronary artery are recommended to actively seek treatment to avoid myocardial infarction and other adverse events.
