The difference between yin and yang fire

Yin fire refers to the deficiency fire of yin deficiency, and yang fire refers to the actual fire of yang heat. There is a difference between the two in terms of etiology, clinical manifestations and treatment.
1. Etiology: Yin fire is mostly due to the patient’s over-exertion and depletion of yin essence, resulting in deficiency of yin and fluid, yin deficiency and exuberance of fire, the formation of false fire; Yang fire is mostly due to the patient’s emotional and emotional disorders, spicy and oily food, which leads to the body’s exuberance of yang heat over a long period of time, resulting in solid fire.
2. Clinical manifestations: Yin fire clinically manifested as heartburn, hot hands and feet, insomnia and irritability, red tongue with little moss, pulse (pulse becomes narrow and thin and the rate accelerated), etc.; Yang fire is often seen in the red face and ears, heat and thirst, excessive sweating, constipation, red tongue with yellow moss, pulse and other symptoms.
3. Treatment: For the treatment of Yin fire, Yin fire needs to nourish Yin and clear away heat, commonly used in clinics such as Sha Shen Maidong Tang, Zhu Sha An Shen Pill, Yi Stomach Tang, etc.; Yang fire needs to clear away heat and diarrhea, commonly used in clinics such as Niuhuang Xieyu Pill, Laxing Qing Pill, Huanglian Qing Xin Pill, etc.
