Eating with a lung cancer patient is not contagious. First of all, lung cancer is not a contagious disease, nor is it a contagious disease caused by infectious viruses or bacteria. Lung cancer is caused by mutations in the patient’s own genes or cells, resulting in abnormal cell proliferation in the lung, which causes lung cancer. It is not caused by viral or bacterial infection. Lung cancer is a primary disease that requires surgery and usually, chemotherapy treatment is also required after surgery depending on the type of lung cancer. If lung cancer is found late and surgery is not possible, effective chemotherapy or radiotherapy is needed to relieve the symptoms of lung cancer patients. In the early stage of lung cancer, there is usually an irritating dry cough, such as metallic cough, and less commonly, coughing up sputum or accompanied by fever.
