What is the proper treatment for facial abrasions

The proper treatment of face abrasions is to disinfect, clear the wound and prevent infection.
After the face abrasion, you need to have iodine vapour disinfection in time, compression to stop bleeding. If the wound is small, you can use band-aid or dressing patch to wrap the wound, and regularly disinfect and change the medicine. If the wound is crusted and dry, it can also be exposed for treatment. However, you need to keep the wound clean and disinfect it regularly.
To prevent wound infection, antibiotics such as amoxicillin, cefaclor, and levofloxacin can be taken for treatment. To prevent tetanus, tetanus antitoxin or tetanus immunoglobulin can be injected early after the injury.
Note: When changing the dressing for facial abrasions, sometimes the scabs and dressings are adherent, and the dressing should not be torn off forcibly to avoid further damage and easy to leave scars. Saline can be used to soak the scab softly and then carefully remove the dressing.
