2. Bacterial infection:

(2) If the body temperature exceeds 38.5°C, antipyretic and analgesic anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen and acetaminophen may be given. With bacterial infection, antibiotics such as erythromycin and amoxicillin can be given to promote the subsidence of infection.
