The early symptoms of dermatomyositis are mainly skin manifestations such as purplish-red patches centered on the eyelids, myositis manifestations involving muscles and other manifestations. 1. Skin manifestations: often manifested as purple-red patches centered on both eyelids, which may involve the face and scalp; the extensor side of the finger joints may also appear asymmetrically distributed flat purple-red papules, with furfuraceous scales attached to the surface, etc.; some patients may also have erythematous scaly patches on the basis of hyperpigmentation and stippling keratosis on the face and neck or trunk. 2. Myositis manifestations: often involving the proximal muscles of the limbs, scapular girdle muscles, neck and throat muscles, which may lead to difficulties in lifting hands, tire head, going up stairs, swallowing and hoarseness of voice. 3. Other manifestations: some patients may have irregular fever, emaciation, anemia, peripheral neuritis and so on. If the above symptoms occur, it is recommended to go to the hospital in time and follow the doctor’s instructions for standardized diagnosis and treatment.
