The prognosis of different types of tic disorders is different, and so are the principles of treatment. The prognosis for this disorder is generally good, and most of them can improve on their own. However, the current study cannot suggest what kind of transient tic disorder will be slowed down in the future, and what kind of transient tic disorder will persist or gradually worsen. In general, no specific treatment is needed for those with mild tic symptoms and minimal disturbance damage. Emphasis should be placed on finding possible related somatic or psychosocial factors and giving proper guidance. For children, it is important to avoid excessive stress, fatigue and other mental burdens, and to help children understand and accept the symptoms to reduce shyness and anxiety.
