Can lung cancer be cured?

It is clinically important to try to encourage the public to go for a physical examination. If a nodule is found on the lung during a physical examination, it is judged that this nodule may be malignant and the patient can be completely cured by early removal. If the patient is found early in lung cancer and there is no metastasis elsewhere, the patient can be completely cured. So clinically, for squamous carcinoma and adenocarcinoma, if they are within stage IIB, they are completely curable. Small cell lung cancer, if it is stage IAⅠB, is also completely curable. If the patient reaches stage III, in addition to surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy or targeted therapy may be considered. Clinically, there is a lot of confidence in tumor treatment nowadays; 10 years ago, we may only know chemotherapy, radiotherapy and surgery, but now there are a lot of means. In addition to the above, we can use targeted drugs, anti-vascular drugs, third-line drugs, including Chinese herbal medicine. Clinically, we can see that more and more patients have longer survival, but early diagnosis and treatment is very important.
