Cholangiocarcinoma is also a relatively common type of tumor in clinic, and cholangiocarcinoma is mainly a biliary tract tumor. There are many clinical classifications of cholangiocarcinoma. At present, from the surgical point of view, it is mainly divided into four stages according to the location: 1. Stage I is from the duodenal jugular abdominal region to the entrance of gallbladder, the section of common bile duct; 2. Stage II is from the confluence of the common bile duct and the cystic duct to the beginning section of extra-hepatic common bile duct; 3. Stage III is from the common hepatic duct to the intra-hepatic left and right hepatic ducts or the left, middle and right hepatic ducts; 4. Stage IV is the intra-hepatic ones including the common hepatic duct, and both the left and right intra-hepatic branches are involved. Both left and right intrahepatic branches are involved. Clinically, according to the different stages, it is guided by the scope of surgery and postoperative outcome, as well as postoperative biliary and intestinal anastomosis.
