Back pain is usually not a symptom of early lung cancer, but may be a symptom of middle and late stage of lung cancer. In the early stage of lung cancer, many patients have no clinical symptoms, and many of them are found to have lung cancer lesions by routine checkup, and a few of them may have symptoms such as coughing, coughing up blood and so on, but generally they do not have the symptom of back pain, however, as the condition of lung cancer develops, for example, the invasion of pleura or metastasis of bone tissues in the back, then back pain may appear. Back pain is more common in benign diseases such as back trauma and long-term muscle strain. Therefore, once back pain occurs, it is recommended to go to the hospital for chest CT, magnetic resonance imaging of chest and back tissues and organs to clarify the cause of back pain and give corresponding treatments in time.
