Whether a myopic patient needs to wear glasses all the time is related to the patient’s symptoms. If the patient’s myopia is low and the vision is not significantly affected by myopia, he/she may not need to wear glasses. However, if the myopia is high and seriously affects the patient’s vision, then the patient needs to wear glasses all the time to avoid myopia from deepening. Patients with low myopia may not need to wear eyeglasses all the time because their vision is normal. If the patient’s myopia is high and the vision is significantly affected, the patient needs to wear glasses to correct the myopia in order to improve the vision. If patients do not wear glasses, they need to squint to see things clearly, which is prone to visual fatigue and leads to deepening of myopia. It is recommended that patients with myopia consult a doctor in a timely manner to assess their condition and follow the doctor’s instructions for treatment and care.
