What is low-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma?

Hypo-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma usually means that the degree of differentiation of squamous cell carcinoma is hypo-differentiated. Clinicians often determine the degree of differentiation of a tumor by making a pathological diagnosis of the cancer cells, i.e., determining the degree of differentiation of the tumor cells from normal cells. From there, the degree of malignancy and prognosis can be determined. The differentiation degree of cancer cells can usually be divided into three grades: high, medium and low. The lower the grade, the higher the degree of malignancy, easy to metastasize and sensitive to radiotherapy. Squamous cell carcinoma of the lung is a common malignant tumor of the respiratory system and can occur in most organs or in the skin. It can be caused by smoking, heredity, environmental pollution and other factors. Due to the high malignancy of low-differentiated squamous cell carcinoma, the probability of metastasis is high. After diagnosis, one should go to the hospital in time and take surgical excision treatment under doctor’s guidance.
