The normal color of gallbladder puncture drainage is golden yellow or dark green, and if it is grass green or red, it is an abnormal color. Gallbladder aspiration usually drains bile, which is golden or dark green in color, clear and free of impurities. If the gallbladder is diseased in other ways, the bile drained will be a different color. If the drainage is grass-green in color, the bilirubin of the bile may be infected by bacteria or oxidized by stomach acid; if the drainage is white, it may be caused by a prolonged obstruction of the jugular duct of the gallbladder or the hepatic bile ducts; if the drainage is purulent, there is a serious infection of the bile ducts; and if the bile is red, it may be due to bleeding in the bile ducts. If the drainage is abnormal, you should actively cooperate with your doctor for further diagnosis to avoid delaying your condition.
